How It Works
You upload a resume. We read it, search the live job market, and show you exactly which roles fit your skills, where you rank, and what to improve. The whole process takes under 60 seconds.
Every job posting describes an ideal candidate: skills, experience level, industry background. Your match score measures how closely your resume aligns with each role across three dimensions:
Skill Alignment
We extract your technical and soft skills, then compare them to what each role requires. Exact matches, related skills, and transferable experience all count.
Domain Fit
Your industry experience matters. A backend engineer with fintech experience scores higher for finance roles than someone with identical skills but no domain overlap.
Seniority Calibration
We detect your career stage (junior, mid, senior, lead) and match you to roles at the right level. No entry-level noise when you have 10 years of experience.
Scores range from 0 to 100. Anything above 75 is a strong match, meaning your background covers most of what the role asks for. Above 85 means you're likely in the top tier of applicants for that position.
Seeker doesn't use a static job board. We pull from multiple real-time sources to build a live picture of the market:
Our corpus is refreshed daily. When you upload your resume, we search across this entire dataset (typically thousands of live postings) and rank them by fit. If your local market has limited supply, we automatically expand the search to adjacent domains and remote roles.
After analysis, you get a full career intelligence report with four views:
Matches
Your top-scoring roles ranked by fit. Each card shows the company, title, match score, and why it matched. You can filter by domain, location, or minimum score.
Skills
A breakdown of every skill extracted from your resume, categorized by type. See which skills are in high demand, which are rare, and where you have gaps relative to your target roles.
Trajectory
Where your career is heading based on your experience pattern. Shows potential next roles, growth directions, and what skills would unlock higher-level positions.
Search Transparency
Full visibility into how we searched: openings evaluated, domains covered, search strategy used, and whether we expanded your search to find more matches.
Free results are available for 7 days. Pro users keep results forever. You can email them to yourself or share them from the results page.
Resume file deleted after analysis
Your resume file is processed, then permanently removed. We extract structured career data for your results but never store the original file.

All uploads use TLS encryption. Your data never travels in plain text.
